One of the biggest challenges in the group audition setting is sitting through every candidate, many of which don’t fit your season either because they are not available for your dates, or don’t have the skills you need.
Spending all this time watching auditions leaves only a little time for callbacks and meeting the candidates that might be a match for your season.
Many candidates spend money attending the conference only to discover they get no callbacks or meetings. With this format, candidates know for sure they have at least one callback before they book their travel to the audition.

SUBMIT MATERIALS:
1. Submit your audition materials:
identify summer availability
express types of contracts you are interested in
VOCAL AUDITION: Submit two contrasting songs (under 2 mins). Choose which to see first.
ACTING AUDITION: Submit two contrasting pieces
GET CAPTURED: Sign up for a 10 minute slot to be filmed
DANCE/MOVEMENT AUDITION: Submit video of chosen movement combo:
learn combination during scheduled audition (virtually or in-person)
DECEMBER 5th: Open Jar Studios
IN-PERSON: Learn the combo and get filmed. Video uploaded for you.
VIRTUAL: Learn the combo during live session and film yourself within 24 hours.
